New Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 May 2021 setting up a Union regime for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items has been published in OJ L 206 of 11/06/2021.
This regulation repeals existing Council Regulation (EC) No 428/2009.
The entry into force is 09/09/2021.
In this new regulation the obligation of declaring the certificate X002 has been removed so in TARIC we have replaced the existing TARIC certificate X002 with the following ones :

- X061 Union General Export Authorisation No EU001 – ANNEX II A – referred to in Article 12(1)(d) of the Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council
- X062 Union General Export Authorisation No EU002 – ANNEX II B – referred to in Article 12(1)(d) of the Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council
- X063 Union General Export Authorisation No EU003 – ANNEX II C – referred to in Article 12(1)(d) of the Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council
- X064 Union General Export Authorisation No EU004 – ANNEX II D – referred to in Article 12(1)(d) of the Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council
